You might not believe this story but I swear it's true: We had a lovely start to the new year: Having had a very quick two night break with himself (celebrating 30 years married), we were returning into one of Ireland's airports (not going to name the airport to keep the anonymity of the other person in this story). After a short delay waiting for the steps to the plane, we were queuing patiently for passport control. Finally we get to the top of the que and the Garda checking passports goes: "Oh my God are you Velvet Cloud"? I confessed yes that's who we were "Oh my God I am so happy to meet you, you have changed my life !" Since I have gone on it it's totally turned around things for me!" I won't go into too much more detail here again to protect said Garda, we also had to cut short the conversation, because we were getting very dirty looks from those behind us. It's actually not the first time this has happened (someone has recognised us from our social media and wants to chat or to thank us for changing their lives. But it's the first time an officer of the law has held me up at passport control :) Usually it happens in a shop, once or twice it has been on the train, they are usually women of a certain age who wanted to increase their protein or calcium in a natural way, or Moms of babies who they are trying to wean their little ones onto non processed sugar free options, or a lot of people who are simply sensitive to or intolerant to cow dairy. But this time it really made us smile and I suppose made me also to reflect on all of the lovely people who have left reviews about our yogurt on our website, and in particular the ones who have literally used the words "Changed my life". So wishing you a very very happy new year, thank you for everything in 2025, and if you know anyone whose life might be changed that little tiny bit by our Velvet Cloud yogurt we would really love if you could let them know .
