Two Great Taste Award Stars for our Soft Cheese Labneh
Very happy to announce that our Velvet Cloud Soft Sheep’s Cheese Labneh has been awarded the prestigious 2-star accolade in the 2024 Great Taste Awards held in the UK. Only 9% of over 14,000 entries achieve this “beyond delicious" rating, making it an incredible achievement for our small Irish food business. A rating like this means the judges have classified our soft cheese as "outstanding". Velvet Cloud soft cheese is exclusively available online for now, but we will be looking for an Irish retailer to support us and be the first to sell what the judges described as “beautifully balanced, with restrained saltiness. Really versatile, which we think it's unimprovable. “
One Great Taste Awards 2024 for our live sheep's milk yogurt
In more great news our best selling Velvet Cloud Live Yogurt achieved a one-star award rating. classifying it as "Simply Delicious" and which the judges described as : "a welcome and creamy texture with that delightful and gentle zing that showed itself on the palate. It is good and honest in intent and in crafting".
