It was World Osteoporosis Day yesterday and I went to hospital with our high Calcium yogurt

A few weeks ago I was delighted when I got an email from Nurse Sarah McDonald from the Dexa scanning unit at Sligo University Hospital asking if I'd like to promote Velvet Cloud with them yesterday for World Osteoporosis Day.

Sarah and her team are doing brilliant work highlighting how important nutrition and exercise are for keeping our bones healthy and avoiding osteoporosis down the line. Getting enough Calcium and vitamin D is absolutely key to this.

That's where Velvet Cloud comes in - our yogurt has double the calcium of regular yogurt (200 mu per 100g), it is faster digesting, and tastes gorgeous too, which is why I jumped at the chance to head up to Sligo and encourage more people to give it a try! I also did a quick video about it here.

So big thanks to the team and to everyone who stopped to engage and try a free sample - I hope we'll see a blip in Sligo sales now! 😊
