There is a run on Velvet Cloud live sheeps yogurt at the moment – DON’T take NO for an answer

I have had one or two emails in the past few weeks, complaining or alerting me to the fact that Velvet Cloud is not on this stores shelf or that stores shelf and there is a gap where it should be. This has reminded me of a blog I wrote a four years ago called : Why So Many Small Food Business Fail, which explains why you sometimes can’t get Velvet Cloud on a supermarkets shelf and how complicated the whole process is for small businesses. There are so many obsticales for them to keep their products on shelf , resulting in lots of them giving up. However with your help, beady eyes and feedback we haven’t given up - but it is still very difficult. 

Things have improved a tiny bit for us since I wrote that piece. If you are new here, this is  a reminder.

Velvet Cloud yogurt is available in

EVERY M&S in the Republic,

EVERY Nourish Health Store, (many of which are inside Dunnes Stores)

A selection of Dunnes stores

A selection of Tesco stores

A selection of SuperValu stores

Lots of lovely health food stores and lots of independent speciality food stores.

The multiple retailers order from a large warehouse in  Dublin or in Cork,  in both of these warehouses there is plenty of Velvet Cloud in both we are NOT (nor have we been for years) out of stock. 

If Velvet Cloud is not on the supermarket shelf, this is compleltely out of our control and within the control of the store manager, and the only way  to get it in faster is for a customer to NAG and not take no for an answer. Often staff on the floor, are too busy, too tired, about to go on a break, to much going on to remember or to care to order so Nagging is the only way. Having said that please keep the info coming in, becasue its really useful for us to see where things are working better than others.
