Yesterday we welcomed some important customers for a farm visit. Anxious to make them feel welcome, we also wanted to make sure they enjoyed themselves so of course we had to take them out for a lovely lunch. We decided on The Lodge at Ashford Castle, it’s not too far a drive from the farm and they’ve also been `customers of Velvet Cloud from the very start. Planning ahead I asked Chef Jonathan to book us a table in the bar, and if he could make sure Velvet Cloud was on the menu or on the specials that day, he’d be doing us a huge favour. He went over and beyond the call of duty, and put us on every course !!
