3 Random Ramblings

Random Rambling Stuff

Maths paper  2 went well, as did Irish paper 1 thanks be to God, must have been the high protein smoothie, and mothers love for the junior shepherd!

While randomly looking at Instagram foodie posts yesterday, I discovered a new salad dressing idea, blitz Velvet Cloud yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, soya sauce, clove of garlic and a tiny squish of honey ( I don’t like things too sweet) . I served it with a mixed salad, some Shines Tuna and mixed seeds, for lunch, photograph here, it’s a nicer lighter salad dressing for the days you don’t want things super creamy.

Did you see our friends in Row Wines got not one buy two great reviews in the Sunday papers? Gillian Nelis reviewed them in the Sunday Business Post Magazine, and The Gastro Gays in The Sunday Times. In both the Velvet Cloud lamb dish got a shout out, I think Gillian often reads our newsletter so I hope she doesn’t mind me quoting her “Once I see and smell it I have to have it. “What is that – and can I have one please”? I ask our lovely server. The answer to the former is crispy lamb belly with a Velve Cloud, Garlic and Chilli sauce . It was utterly delicious , and the flavour is a tribute to the work that’s gone into it”. I’m  Delighted for Chef Paddy Maher and Team and Dan Hanigan exec chef they deserve every bit of the praise and the great reviews really hope it turns into more business for them.

Rambles over have a lovely Tuesday

I am asked a lot about (something I thought was very obvious), but it mustn't be, so here is an explanation from the fields with a live lamb demo.
