I'm attending the Women and Agriculture conference today in Knightsbrook Hotel in Co Meath. There is a strange mix on the Agenda from - a panel reflecting on food prices and inflation (the panel I am speaking on), a panel on women's health. An address from Taoiseach Micheál Martin billed for an hour and later in the day Minister Helen McEntee. In the middle of the day Jake Carter is on for entertainment and Dermot Bannon Architect is also on the agenda. The mind boggles ?
But what I do know is that last night well over 500 female farmers were up boogying to The Newbridge Gospel choir, happy to be alive, and that has to be a good thing!
