That was along weekend

Where to begin?

The last few days have been busy ones! The junior shepherd was in his school's Transition Year Musical - Joseph and His Amazing Technicolored dream coat. It ran from  Wednesday to Friday, so of course as proud parents, we had to go twice, on Wednesday and Friday nights. The lads and girls (from the neighbouring school) were so brilliant, everyone attending left the show smiling. He’ll kill me of course ( but thankfully doesn’t read my emails) there is a photo of him below, he's the guy in the stripey coat.

Then I was in Dublin Thursday and Friday and got to call into the beautiful Barnhill Stores in Dalkey, if you live anywhere in the area, its worth calling into they have a fantastic selection of local and speciality foods and an amazing wine selection, and they are now stocking Velvet Cloud yogurt

Juniour Shepherd and Mom

Then Saturday morning the poor junior shepherd was dragged out of bed, because despite is theatrical brilliance, he was on duty to help his Mom at the Mayo Day Food Village in Ballina. This event happens once a year and celebrates all things wonderful about Mayo food, crafts, music and entertainment. It was the first real festival of the year and although it only ran from 12.00 to 18.00 at the end of it every bone/muscle in my body was aching.

I am so out of practice, I’ve decided to start Bloom preparation already, i.e. stretches every night and morning to make sure any muscle that might be used is ready for use. Bloom if you are wondering runs from the Thursday to the Monday over the June bank holiday weekend.

Lots of R&R was had yesterday as I nursed my old body back to itself, and today I am catching up on admin. Hope everyone had a nice long weekend, before you know it, it will be Friday again.
