We Scrubbed Up Last Week And Took Off The Wellies

Hope everyone had a lovely long bank holiday weekend, we had all the shepherds at home for the weekend, so it was nice to get all six of us around a table which is becoming a rare event!

Last Wednesday evening saw the final of the Small Firms Association Business Awards. Velvet Cloud was a finalist in the Outstanding Small Business Category.  It was a black-tie event, so we had to pull out the stops and were allowed to bring two guests. Two of our junior shepherds jumped at the chance of putting on their finest (guess which two) and two more couldn’t think of anything worse. Photo below, a great night was had by all, we didn’t bring home a trophy, but were delighted to have got this far. It was fantastic to get out an mingle again.
