The pack contains

  • 1 x 450g of fresh creamy grass-fed Natural Velvet Cloud sheep's milk yoghurt
  • 1 x 250g of fresh creamy grass-fed Natural Velvet Cloud sheep's milk yoghurt
  • 1 x 130g of fresh creamy grass-fed Natural Velvet Cloud sheep's milk yoghurt
  • 1 x 1 litre of Velvet Cloud freshly frozen sheep's milk.
  • 1 x piece of semi-hard Rockfield sheep's milk cheese
  • 1 x piece of Velvet Cloud soft creamy sheep's milk cheese
  • 1 x piece Cloonbook Irish Farmhouse cheese (cow)

Sheep's milk suits many people who feel they are sensitive to cow dairy; it is naturally homogenised (so absolutely no processing takes place). It has a higher nutritional profile than cow or goat and a mild creamier taste. Your order will be delivered directly to your door via courier.

Our yoghurt is made on our family farm in Co Mayo, with nothing added and nothing strained away, just fresh pasteurised sheep's milk and four live cultures. Used by Ireland's top chefs, this creamy mild tasting yoghurt works in sweet and savoury dishes, it's ideal on its own or as a dressing, to replace mayonnaise or creme fraiche, with curries, on the side, as a dip, or in smoothies. You will get a shelf life of three weeks on the sheep's yoghurt. 

Velvet Cloud sheep's milk comes from our much-loved flock of lacune and Friesland ewes, who graze on grass and clover pastures throughout the year. The fresh pasteurised sheep's milk is especially blast frozen ( a method of quickly freezing) to keep in all the unique goodness and benefits of sheep's milk. This allows you to keep it in your freezer for up to three months, and the blast freezing means that the creamy, naturally homogenised properties will be intact when defrosted. You will get a shelf life of at least three months on the sheep's milk.

Our soft sheep's cheese is made using a traditional labneh recipe, this is a soft creamy delicious sheep's milk cheese, a sustainable cow dairy alternative. Delicious spread on crackers or crusty bread, stir into pasta, and use as a creamy topping on a baked potato or stuffed peppers. Top chicken breasts or fish pieces (e.g. hake or cod) with labneh and dukkah and serve. Beat the soft cheese adding flavouring of your choice, for example, garlic, smoked paprika, pesto, or dill, and then use it as a creamy spread or topping.

Rockfield semi-hard sheep cheese has a natural rind and is carefully matured for a minimum of 12 weeks. This crumbly buttery cheese was awarded Best Irish Cheese and Best Sheep's Cheese at the Artisan Cheese Awards in the UK in 2022! (That's a delicious cheese out of hundreds of cheeses).

Cloonbook semi-hard delicious farmhouse cheese was launched in 2022 and has been an enormous success. It's made using fresh cows milk from Michaels's Uncle  Mícheál's farm (RIP) in Cloonbook, which is now run by his cousin Domhall.
