School vist to talk about all things sheeps milk
I went back to school today to talk to the fifth-year students of St. Joseph's Secondary School in Foxford, County Mayo. I was speaking with the fifth agricultural science, business, and home economics boys students. We also did some blind tasting where they blind tasted:
- cow's milk and sheep's milk
- cows' yogurt and sheep's yogurt
- our Rockfield sheep's cheese and Cloonbook Irish Farmhouse Cheese
Can you tell the difference between sheeps milk and cows milk?
Interestingly they all got the sheep's milk correct, most got the sheep's yogurt correct but it was 50/50 on the Cloonbook versus Rockfield cheese! What that means I have no idea :) Love to see the next generation engaging.
