What a pleasure it was to attend Milltown National School this morning and meet with the 5th class boys and girls. A bunch of inspiring young men and women full of clever and interesting questions, and all willing to blind taste sheep’s milk and cow’s milk to see if they could tell the difference (they could!).
Then we moved on to Rockfield Sheep’s Cheese and Cloonbook Cow’s Cheese – this time it was trickier, with about half guessing the sheep’s cheese correctly, and a perfect 50/50 split on which one they preferred.
